Director of Corporate Development & Philanthropy

We’re seeking an exceptional, compassionate, and driven individual to join our team as the Director of Corporate Development & Philanthropy. This role is not just about business growth—it’s about aligning financial sustainability with impactful giving, creating a future where philanthropy and corporate social responsibility (CSR) meet through community-driven solutions.

Role Overview

As the Director of Corporate Development & Philanthropy, you will be at the forefront of our mission, spearheading efforts to establish strategic partnerships, secure funding, and implement innovative philanthropy models. You’ll be a connector—driving meaningful collaborations, from global corporations to grassroots organizations, ensuring that every initiative has a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising and Capital Growth
  • Lead fundraising efforts to secure $10M in funding, with an emphasis on both grants and high-net-worth individuals
  • Create a comprehensive fundraising and capital growth plan aligned with the company's long-term goals
  • Identify suitable funding sources, such as venture capital, private equity, institutional investors, grants, or public offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors
  • Regularly communicate company updates, milestones, and progress to stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling investment pitches to secure funding
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with investors to maximize financial value and strategic alignment
• Building Relationships and Partnerships
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with investors, donors, and partners that align with our mission, ensuring long-term collaboration and support
  • Develop and execute donor stewardship programs that ensure sustained engagement and financial sustainability for our initiatives
  • Forge connections with influential organizations such as YPO, Deloitte, XPRIZE, and other community-focused entities
• Strategic Philanthropy Development
  • Drive innovative approaches to philanthropy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and community impact models
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to develop scalable, technology-driven models for CSR and philanthropy alignment
• Go-to-Market Impact Strategy
  • Oversee the design and implementation of frameworks that enable measurable community impact
  • Create playbooks and systems for replicable, scalable philanthropy solutions that can be adopted globally
• Leadership and Communication
  • Represent ImpactSoul at high-profile events, forums, and meetings, ensuring our mission is aligned with stakeholders’ goals
  • Work closely with our leadership team to help refine and align the organization’s vision, values, and strategies

Positioning and Impact

• Immediate Priorities (First 90 Days)
  • Develop and present a comprehensive fundraising strategy, securing at least $2M in initial commitments
  • Formalize scalable partnership frameworks with clear milestones
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key partners such as YPO, Deloitte, and XPRIZE
• Long-Term Impact (Year 1)
  • Secure a minimum of $XM in funding through a blend of  individuals, corporate partnerships, philanthropic sources, and grants
  • Formalize or accelerate partnerships with 5-7 key gatekeeper organizations
  • Establish systems for scalable, impactful philanthropy that will elevate community-driven initiatives globally

What We Crave

We’re bringing in this partner who understands the power of both technology and human connection. An individual with a passion for innovative giving, who believes in the transformative potential of philanthropy to create lasting social change.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, investment management, or venture capital, preferably within the tech or philanthropy sectors
• Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills
• Mindset: A commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and community-driven impact
• Highly Ethical Reputation with very thick skin
